Drs. William G. '64 and Hannelore H. '63 Giles Scholarship

Established in July 2015, The Drs. William G. ’64 and Hannelore H. ’63 Giles Scholarship provides tuition relief to students in the LSU Health School of Medicine with demonstrated financial need.

• First preference shall be awarded to an applicant who is an active member or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces or the spouse of an active member of the U.S. Armed Forces with demonstrated financial need.
• Second preference shall be awarded to the child of a parent(s) who is an active member or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces with demonstrated financial need.
• If none meet the first and second preferences, the fund shall be awarded to a medical student(s) with demonstrated financial need.
