Dr. Jeffrey P. Feingold/MCNA Dental Rural Scholars Scholarship
Established in 2017, The Dr. Jeffrey P. Feingold/MCNA Dental Rural Scholars Scholarship supports students enrolled in the LSU Health School of Dentistry’s rural track program. The rural track program is an effort to increase the number of new graduate dentists practicing in Louisiana Dental Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA). This scholarship provides funds for tuition and/or to enhance educational experience outside of the classroom, for example, to fund clinical experiences in underserved areas of the state or to attend national meetings related to public health and caring for the underserved.
