Richard H. Vial, MD Scholarship

Dr. Richard H. Vial, a 1971 graduate of the LSU Health School of Medicine, passed away in 2003 at the age of 57. Dr. Vial trained in Internal Medicine and Oncology at LSU Health and was Director of the Oncology Fellowship Program and the Student Curriculum Program of the Department of Internal Medicine. Named in honor of Dr. Vial, the scholarship is provided to a deserving incoming freshman medical student.
