LSU School of Dentistry Orthodontic Alumni Endowed Superior Graduate Scholarship in Orthodontics
The LSU School of Dentistry Orthodontic Alumni Endowed Superior Graduate Scholarship in Orthodontics was created by alumni who recognize the importance of financial support for orthodontic students. This annual scholarship provides tuition support and educational opportunities for second-year orthodontic residents (unpaid). Qualifying students will be in good academic standing in the department with regard to all didactic, clinical, and research courses/activities. Students must maintain at least a “B” average (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) overall Grade Point Average (GPA) at the end of each grading period (semester, trimester, etc.) An average below 3.0 places the student on academic probation and makes them ineligible for consideration for the scholarship. The recipient must maintain a “B” average for all orthodontic departmental coursework. A grade of C in a departmental course will make the resident ineligible for the scholarship.
